- Compensation/Benefits: $45,000 – $50,000 DOE

- Flexible hours Monday-Friday, occasional evenings/weekends for events
- 10 days sick leave annually starting on date of hire.
- 10 days vacation annually; increasing to 15 days after 2 years.

The Administrative Manager reports to the Executive Director and supports the entire team. They are responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency by organizing and coordinating administrative operations /procedures, providing executive support, managing databases and software apps, and troubleshooting operational issues. This position also supports HR and financial functions by coordinating closely with an outsourced provider. This position supervises interns. They ensure that all business operations are provided are in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and policies.
The Washington Association for Infant Mental Health (WA-AIMH) promotes the social-emotional wellbeing of infants and young children through training, endorsement, and support of professionals who serve families. We have a staff of four, an annual budget of $600K+, and a growing membership. We’re rapidly growing to meet the rising interest and investment in our state for culturally relevant, equitable and accessible professional development opportunities for all providers who work in infant mental health and early childhood fields throughout our State.

Key Requirements:
- Alignment with and support of WA-AIMH’s mission, including a commitment to support our efforts in promoting equity, inclusion and social justice through the delivery of all its programs.
- 4+ years of increasingly responsible professional administrative and/or full-charge bookkeeping experience in a philanthropic, non-profit, or mission-driven organization.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite, Outlook, Google docs, Zoom, etc. Knowledge of Quickbooks and experience with Basecamp a plus.
- Demonstrated competency with database administration, troubleshooting problems, analyzing information and data, and producing reports. Experience with NEON, Little Green Light or other donor databases a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate clearly through email and over the phone and interact well a variety of persons including donors, members, contract partners, etc.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to create easy-to-follow systems for others.
- Independently motivated and self-organized, can take on tasks and duties without immediate direction.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and duties simultaneously.
- Must exhibit professional discretion, balanced judgment and excellent decision-making skills.
- Integrity and a commitment to professional ethics, values, and fairness.
- Bicultural and/or bilingual skills strongly preferred.
- BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration or related field. Education/certificate in nonprofit management a plus. Qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for the education requirement.

About WA Association for Infant Mental Health
WA-AIMH is Washington’s only statewide association for all professionals who support the development of children prenatally through age six. Our role is to train, credential, advocate for and strengthen Washington’s infant and early childhood workforce in a way that is relationship-based, equitable, and informed by the communities that we serve. We also advocate for public policy matters that impact young children and families and the systems of care in our State. Though our work, we help ensure healthy communities and a well-supported, effective workforce now and in the future.

- Offering Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health for those who work with children birth to age three and their families and integrate IECMH principles into their practice.
- Providing a variety of professional development and continuing education opportunities to increase skills and knowledge in the field.
- Increasing provider resiliency and well-being by promoting reflective practice and coordinating opportunities for reflective supervision/consultation.
- Increasing public awareness of how early relationships and experiences impact development.
- Fostering partnerships, policies and best practices to better support healthy development in infants, young children and their families
