Operations Manager
Part-time remote position based in DC Metro Area
About this Role
Location: Remote role based in the Washington, DC metro area. Requires weekly visits to office headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
Your Responsibilities
As the Operations Manager, your role is to keep the organization running smoothly and efficiently. Your cross-functional purview includes financial management, human resources, compliance, and donor relations.
Capacity Building: Design and build processes and systems needed to ensure operational excellence and prepare for ASAP’s growth, both financially and geographically.
Human Resources: Fulfill the organization’s human resources functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, etc.
Financial Management: Oversee ASAP’s accounting team and lead cooperation with our annual external auditor. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts receivable and payable, revenue and expense tracking, restricted funds compliance, and bank reconciliations.
Compliance: Keep the organization compliant and in good standing with relevant filings and registrations.
Development: Support ASAP’s fundraising efforts with a variety of responsibilities, including project management, donor acknowledgments, and funder meetings with ASAP’s Executive Director. Contribute to fundraising strategy.

Relevant Skills
Experience in human resources, financial management, and general operations.
Proficiency in Google Workspace: Gmail, Drive, Documents, Sheets, and Calendar.
Experience with ADP, Bill.com, Slack, WordPress, Funraise (or other fundraising platform), and/or Salesforce platforms.
Compensation, Benefits, and Work Schedule
Compensation: $28-$30 per hour
Benefits: Flexible schedule, family-friendly culture, retirement plan, and professional development stipend.
Work Schedule: 25-30 hours per week, potential for full-time in 2023
