This is a thorough description of our ideal, however we recognize this may be a lot to ask. Our new Codirector should:
Understand the history & current role of the FIC in the IC movement and in relation to other movements, and its various relationships with individuals and organizations, past and present
Have familiarity & experience with a broad range of ICs, other IC focused organizations, the movement as a whole and with aligned movements & organizations, and an ability to speak to this
Be outgoing and gregarious, and provide a reasonably and appropriately charismatic, well-known face/persona for people to relate to and connect with through a variety of venues and platforms (e.g., interviews, speaking engagements, workshops, etc., both online and in-person)
Engage, relate to, network, build & form new relationships with a wide variety of people in different roles outside of the organization, especially with marginalized groups and organizations
Actively engage with individuals, communities, and other organizations in the IC movement in helping to craft shared identity and narrative
