About Constructive Dialogue Institute
In recent years, our society has become increasingly divided. Rather than appreciating our differences, all too often, people view the world through an "us versus them" lens. The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) is a non-profit organization that works to address these issues by translating the latest behavioral science research into educational tools that are practical, scalable, and evidence-based in order to equip people with the mindset and skillset to bridge divides. Our educational tools are built primarily for use in higher education and high schools, but they are also used in workplaces and community organizations.
CDI was co-founded by psychologist Jonathan Haidt, the bestselling author of The Righteous Mind and The Coddling of the American Mind. Since launching in 2017, our program has been used by over 65,000 learners at over 500 educational institutions and workplaces across more than 40 countries.
CDI is at an exciting stage in our organizational growth. We recently launched a new version of our online learning program, Perspectives, and will be transitioning to a new-and-improved learning platform over the coming months. We are also rolling out our learning solutions to nearly 50 colleges and universities this fall.
