Overview

Homebrew is looking for an experienced Researcher to lead our VLM efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work at the intersection of computer vision & robotics
  • Build computer vision algorithms and models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning research, including object detection, segmentation, tracking, and generation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly productionize research
  • Publish data sets, models, and papers

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java, with experience working with deep learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV)
  • In-depth knowledge of computer vision fundamentals, across object detection, segmentation, tracking, and generation use cases
  • Up-to-date knowledge of VLM techniques, e.g. flow matching, diffusion, etc
  • Bonus: Relevant publications
  • Bonus: Practical experience implementing Vision-Language Action Models in robotic systems
