Position Summary
The Sr. Software Developer is responsible for designing and developing line of business web applications in a cloud-based environment in C#. You will be part of a small team of developers with direct access to users and the impact of your work. This position is based out of Danbury, CT with possibility of remote work up to 2 days per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide feedback on existing products and contribute to the design of new product features
Build intuitive and highly scalable applications using the Microsoft stack
Build entire features across all layers (database, services, Web UI, desktop app, and mobile)
Build and design responsive web applications that work across different screen sizes and browsers/OSs
Maintains professional knowledge through methods such as training, professional publications, and participation in professional societies
Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Education/Experience
5+ years of programming experience all of the listed technologies: ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, C#, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap/other CSS frameworks, and Javascript including jQuery. Experience building and consuming Web APIs is a must
1+ years of experience with cloud service providers such as Azure (preferred) or AWS is a must
Experience with building mobile applications using Xamarin is a plus
The ideal candidate will demonstrate communication skills, intelligence, and drive
Experience working with health care related systems or software development in the medical field are a plus but not required.
Experience with data standards, especially related to medical data is a plus
