Overview

ZeroV is seeking a full-time Leadership position to head up our Education, Accountability, and Change Program (EACP) for court ordered domestic violence offenders.

Expected Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, and implement policies for EACP practice in Kentucky that are reflective of best practices and policy at the federal, state, and local levels.

• Develop and implement a standardized EACP curriculum for adult domestic violence offenders for use across the state.

• Develop and implement a standardized curriculum for systems-involved youth who have used violence in a family or intimate partner setting.

• Research, develop, implement, and promote the role of EACP programming with policy makers and service providers as a violence prevention tool.

• Research and explore other innovative alternatives to traditional systems-based responses to those who do harm to their intimate partners and possible implementation of promising practices through the ZeroV EACP or other affiliated routes.

• Actively contribute the EACP perspective to ZeroV’s systems change and policy work.

• Promote the EACP with mental health professionals and licensure boards to develop and implement a recruitment strategy to grow the number of certified providers

• Promote the EACP with referral sources across the state (courts, prosecutors, and DCBS staff) to educate and encourage making referrals.

• Provide technical assistance to providers and referral sources on questions about the EACP and the enabling statute and regulation.

• Regularly review the enabling regulation for needed updates.

• Network and collaborate with state agencies and other organizations to educate about and promote the EACP.

• Network with national groups and other state certifying entities that include or have oversight of BIP providers and programming.

• Lead the EACP team:

o Provide support for the EACP team members.

o Manage funding sources and expenditures including the portion of the ZeroV CHFS contract pertaining to EACP.

o Ensure proper investigation of and timely responses to grievances related to the EACP.

o Develop training opportunities for EACP providers.

o Develop training opportunities for stakeholders and referral sources and others as requested.

o Ensure funder and organizational reports are completed.

o Maintain the integrity of the EACP Provider Certification process.

• Some travel required (in-state and out-of-state).

• Other duties as assigned, including administrative activities in support of coalition projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience in or extensive knowledge of batterers intervention programming.

• Experience working with survivors of domestic violence at a domestic violence shelter/program or an affiliate agency that provides intersecting services, or experience working in a coalition or other non-profit agency whose work relates to policies and services that support survivors of domestic violence.

• Experience in growing a project to increase its presence and impact.

• Experience in project management including team building.

• Experience in collaborative work with partner agencies and organizations.

• Experience with developing curricula is a plus.

• Experience with alternatives to systems-based responses to those who do harm is a plus.

• Have a deep commitment to ending gender-based violence, as well as other forms of intersecting oppressions including racism, classism, and ableism or a commitment to learn.

• Strong communications skills.

• Proficient working on a Mac and using Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and videoconferencing (Zoom and Teams).

Salary:

Salary for Leadership position is $52,500 – $55,000 depending on experience, skills, and knowledge; plus $11,000 benefit package.

Location:

The duty station for this position is at the ZeroV office in Frankfort, KY; however, upon approval, there is the option to have an alternative working arrangement plan for telework. There will be in-person meetings or events at the Frankfort, KY office location and/or other designated sites that this position will be required to attend. Training provided and meetings attended will be a mix of virtual and in-person across KY.
