Executive Assistant

We are looking for a bright, responsive, high-energy, and self-motivated individual to support two senior executives and their teams in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services. This exciting role requires high attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines, great organizational and program management skills, and juggling multiple critical requests. We want someone with integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company. The candidate should have a strong sense of ownership and urgency, work independently, adapt, and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

This role is a good fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and who is sensitive to the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences. It is still Day 1 in AWS, and we need a creative problem-solver that can deliver business results under ambiguous circumstances and tight timelines.

Job Responsibilities:
· Managing fluid calendar requests, meeting invites and conference room logistics, and floor access
· Planning travel and accommodating changes
· Processing expense reports
· Managing team event logistics, catering, accommodations, and materials (e.g., monthly/quarterly business reviews, All Hands events, video conferences, customer and industry meetings, etc.)
· Planning space for the team and facilitating office moves
· Supporting other assistants in the company
· Improving morale, helping recognize outstanding efforts, having fun at work, and encouraging others to do the same
· Attending key meetings, tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables, and following up on outstanding items
· Driving team activities (e.g., staff meeting agendas, weekly business reviews, All Hands events, snacks and supply ordering, team-building events, launch events and recognition posters)
· Updating team organizational charts
· Managing workflows that require approvals
· Must be available for travel in support of team events (estimated 25%)

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience assisting at the executive level
· Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and deal with professionals inside and outside the company
· Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
· Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills
· Ability to work cross functionally, and manage multiple inputs from different teams into a single deliverable
· Bachelor’s degree
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
