Security Training Release Manager

The AWS Security, Growth Strategies Awareness & Training team, is revolutionizing how compliance is assessed and achieved in the cloud. AWS adheres to multiple compliance frameworks by strategically implementing new IT processes and product security features to automate controls and provide customers with the continued assurance they need to move to the cloud. Our team is creating learning opportunities for customers to understand and audit against compliance frameworks, at scale.
As a Security Training Release Manager, you will own the Go To Market (GTM) of learning programs to internal and external customers at scale. You will frequently work directly with our customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business and technical perspective. You will be responsible for defining customer-focused feature sets, identifying bold bets, diving deep into learning and deployment metrics, structuring pricing and bundling, and contributing to the overall business and technology strategy of the product.

The successful candidate will form and own a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and exert influence to align diverse stakeholders. Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Candidates must dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. This is a highly strategic position that will impact the direction of AWS in regulated markets.

Responsibilities for this role include:

· Lead Product Deployment – Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals and working backwards documents (press release, FAQ) including customer and market feedback, competitive analysis and business metrics to inform direction of where learning is deployed internally and externally

· Contribute to Product Vision – Including all aspects to future roadmap, investment, innovation and experimentation
·
· Execution of Product Planning and Development – Including customer goals and business requirements for product release, ensuring implementation is aligned with product goals and requirements, and ownership of product positioning
·
· Lead Product Launch – Own the GTM plan to deliver results that ensure the customer and business goals are met in operational launch plans
·
· Lead Operations – Including monitoring and response to customer feedback, continuous improvement and business growth
·
· Lead interaction with Technical Team – Including helping the technical team make tradeoffs based on customer requirements, resourcing, and QA/testing of the product
·
· Influence senior leaders across Amazon and communicate product vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years in product management learning or product marketing is required
·
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
·
· 5+ years of experience and success in defining compelling product and/or service offerings
·
· 5+ years of Product management experience in technology or SaaS companies

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
·
· 10+ years of experience creating Go to Market Strategies
·
· 8+ years Previous experience managing Software-as-a-Service technology products and managed services
·
· Understanding of the Enterprise services space, particularly managed services and system integration
·
· Experience with building products, services and messaging for partners, resellers, and consulting companies
·
· Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements
·
· Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
·
· Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills, attention to details, proactive self-starter
·
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
·
· Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
