Senior Leader, Enterprise Media Strategist

The AWS Elemental team at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring an Enterprise Media Strategist to guide our M&E efforts and advise the largest media companies on how they can transform their video workflows. As an AWS Elemental Enterprise Media Strategist, you’ll use your personal experiences working with media, combine them with the experiences of other customers, and help large media companies understand how they can benefit from the cloud.

Ideal candidates are well versed in the challenges large media companies face across their people, process, and technology when implementing large-scale transformations. This includes leadership, workflow development, operations, security, business case development, technology budgeting, etc. They use this knowledge to develop executive relationships, help customers identify and overcome the same challenges, author blog posts, create and deliver presentations to executive audiences, develop and facilitate executive community building, help AWS product teams and partners understand how media executives make decisions, and develop/improve mechanisms to help customers gain value from the cloud. This role is part of the senior leadership team for the AWS Elemental business. In addition to working with external customers and partners, you’ll work with internal teams across Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Customer Support to help define AWS’s strategy in media and entertainment.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree
· 10+ years of experience working within the media industry implementing large-scale transformations in terms of people, process and technology
· 7+ experience working with engineering, product management, and marketing

· MBA
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
