Overview

We are searching for a Director, People Technology & Operations to own and implement systems, tools & programs that scale and grow the employee experience. We are seeking someone to join our team with an innovative and collaborative mindset who will manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Working in a matrixed environment with HRIS, and leading the People Operations & Data Mgmt teams, this role will be responsible for business ownership of Workday, and its integrations with our ATS, Analytics Tools, Engagement and Development software and Payroll system, as well as be a thought leader for the systems and technology roadmap for the People team.

This position is people manager role reporting to VP, People Planning, Operations & Analytics.

Responsibility

  • Serve as an integral member of the Global People Team to design and implement People Technology & Operations programs impacting the organization as a whole
  • Identify opportunities to improve People programs and services by guiding the evolution and selection of the People Teams HR technologies, leveraging existing technology and implementing process improvements
  • Ensure the People team leads the way on using our own Docusign product to manage our agreements with candidates and our employees
  • Work cross-functionally with HRIS, People Team COEs, Legal, Payroll, and other teams to ensure one aligned, comprehensive, business-centric, and legally compliant approach to our technology solutions and processes, that ensures we support desired business outcomes and scale as we continue to grow
  • Work with IT Enterprise Applications centralized HRIS team to design, develop, implement and continuously support Workday configuration, upgrades, and business initiatives to enable Docusign’s People and Strategy
  • Lead HR Operations and Data Management teams, ensuring systems and workflows are anchored on creating the most effective, consistent, and constantly improving experience for our employees, regardless of the support channel (AI, self-serve, and live support.)
  • Ensure processes and ways of working deliver high quality zero defect data in our systems of record and that our approach supports the workforce and is compliant with legal, tax, and local employment regulations

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequentlyand works from a designated remote work location for the majority of thetime.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a position’s job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.

What you bring

Basic 

  • 12+ years previous experience in the People Technology & Operations function with 8+ years leading the team and managing the function
  • Passion for technology and people and where/how they intersect
  • Experience with Workday

Preferred 

  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to use good judgment
  • Excellent cross functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with Docusign, iCIMS, Visier, ADP
  • Experience implementing AI technologies to leverage and support People team functions and practices

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $171,500 – $277,025 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $164,800 – $232,750 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800 – $242,225 base salary
Washington DC: $171,500 – $242,225 base salary
