What you’ll do

As a Recruiter based in Japan, your primary focus will be on driving the recruitment efforts for the region, sourcing and attracting top-tier diverse talent to support our dynamic growth in the Japanese market. While the majority of the hiring will be for the Sales organisation, you will also be responsible for the management of operational roles vital to our overall business operations. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in handling recruitment activities for selected positions in Singapore.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, APJ.

Responsibility

  • Drive process improvements to help make the hiring process more effective, efficient and positive for both hiring managers and candidates
  • Own the full candidate lifecycle for a variety of roles
  • Source candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with hiring managers and key stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on talent acquisition and workforce planning
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to enhance recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and a positive candidate experience
  • Utilise market insights to tailor recruitment strategies, ensuring our approach remains competitive and aligned with the evolving needs of our organisation

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequentlyand works from a designated remote work location for the majority of thetime.

Positions at DocuSign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within DocuSign. DocuSign reserves the right to change a position’s job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.

What you bring

Basic 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of agency and/or in-house recruitment experience in the Japanese market
  • Fluency in Japanese and English

Preferred 

  • Experience recruiting in the Singapore market
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail while operating with a sense of urgency
  • Penchant towards metrics
