Job Description
The Paid Relational Digital Pod Director will oversee the entire Digital Department for our ground-breaking 2024 Paid Relational Organizing Hub program. The person in this role can anticipate to have approximately 10 direct reports, all of which will be Digital Directors for each of our targeted states. They will also be the lead for the entire Digital Department currently estimated to be approximately 30+ individuals. This person will be responsible for coaching their team and ensuring that Empower Project meets our ambitious goals to meaningfully boost turnout for the 2024 general election.
This position is available starting immediately and is scheduled to end on November 30, 2024. Work hours will vary.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with Paid Relational Organizing Senior Staff to create a work plan for our paid relational Digital Department to recruit thousands of paid community mobilizers through text, ads, and partnerships
Work with partners and communicate with website vendor to set up recruitment websites to enable partners to generate leads for our program
Manage 10 direct reports
Implement and maintain accurate data tracking of account activity within our CRM system
Desired Characteristics
A strong commitment to the progressive movement and principles
At least 3 cycles of digital organizing experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Proven ability to inspire and manage a team to achieve set goals
Advanced knowledge of Hustle, ThruText, Scale to Win and/or other Peer to Peer texting platforms commonly used in Democratic campaigns
Experience in webpage management using Wix
Desire and ability to create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment free from discrimination or harassment
Excellent communication skills
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have experience with relational organizing and who are fluent in a second language
Access to a reliable laptop and cell phone are required
Compensation Package
This is a full-time, work from home position. Compensation is salary-based at $108,000 a year, plus benefits. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, and some paid time off including personal and sick days.
