Job Description
The Paid Relational Organizing Pod Director will oversee the entire Organizing Department for our ground-breaking 2024 Paid Relational Organizing Hub program. The person in this role can anticipate having 10 direct reports, all of which will be Organizing Directors for each of our targeted states. They will also be the lead for the entire Organizing Department, currently estimated to be 250+ individuals. This person will be responsible for coaching their team and ensuring that we meet our ambitious goals and meaningfully boost turnout for the 2024 general election.

This position is available starting immediately and is scheduled to end on November 30, 2024. Work hours will vary.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with Paid Relational Organizing Senior Staff to set ambitious paid relational organizing benchmarks and goals
Create and execute a detailed plan to hire and onboard a team of 250+ individuals
Manage 10 direct reports
Oversee and enhance the program training curriculum, ensuring it remains current and effective
Create a positive, inspired, inclusive, and effective work culture
Desired CharacteristicsA strong commitment to the progressive movement and principles
At least 3 cycles of organizing experience with increasing levels of managerial responsibility
Proven ability to inspire and manage a team to achieve set goals
Knowledge of EveryAction
Desire and ability to create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment free from discrimination or harassment
Excellent communication skills
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have experience with relational organizing and who are fluent in a second language
Access to a reliable laptop and cell phone are required
Previous experience training and coaching volunteers or paid canvassers

Compensation Package
This is a full-time, work from home position. Compensation is salary-based at $108,000 a year, plus benefits. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, and some paid time off including personal and sick days.
