We are looking for an intern (paid, hybrid) to assist our 501(c) nonprofit with marketing, social media and community outreach. Our nonprofit serves Bay Area communities – youth, young adult and adult — through the performing arts and martial arts. We offer classes in acting, physical theatre, boxing, tap dance, capoeira and coaching in public speaking for all ages, including college applicants and recent college graduates who need to ground themselves and show their best abilities in a job interview, an audition or a business presentation. We also offer intergenerational improv groups and intergenerational boxing sessions. JOPP’s focus on its “Eye Contact” program aims at capturing personal power, truth and credibility in direct interactions and live performance. Studios on 4th Street in Berkeley. We have been an active 501(c)3 nonprofit in the performing arts since 2015.
We are looking for an energetic college student or recent grad with an interest in marketing, youth and community service to help us define and implement this internship role. Should have leadership qualities, media marketing skills and a facility with language and people.
