We are looking for you as Field Application Engineer (m/f/x) at the earliest possible date for our headquarters in Fulda, Germany or fully remote in Europe.

Your Role

  • You are the first technical contact for your customers

  • You support your customers in all phases of the implementation of a telematics system together with a sales representative assigned to the customer

    • Gathering requirements and advising on decision-making, assisting in the selection of parameters
    • Implementation of customer requirements using an established tool chain
    • Support and training of customers, especially in the pilot phase
    • Introduction of telematics into the customer series and advice on adapting customer processes
    • Series support and management of extensions and improvements
  • You implement data analytics services for your customers

  • Development, documentation, and improvement of the customer onboarding process (introduction of the telematics solution at the customer)

  • Evaluation and forwarding of suggestions for improvement and ideas from customer discussions to development and product management

  • Active participation in our continuous improvement processes

  • Execute internal and external trainings

Your Skills

  • You successfully completed your degree in the field of (electrical) engineering, computer science or a similar qualification and already have some experience in the field of mobile working machines or related areas
  • You have profound knowledge in data analysis with Python
  • You have experience in the development and testing of embedded devices, ideally CAN and CANopen products
  • You have knowledge in data analytics
  • You have experience in using telematics systems and data to add value and/or achieve savings
  • Ideally, you have already gained insight into XML, Ethernet, Bluetooth, WLAN and GSM technology
  • You are confident in using Microsoft Office
  • You have a good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Your technical understanding is very well
  • You are a strong communicator, a team player, goal- and result-oriented as well as a highly structured
  • You are willing to travel internationally
