The position is to be filled as soon as possible with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

 

After very successful years, Welthungerhilfe sees further potential to better understand the area of legacy fundraising and the special support group of legacy donors, to tailor communication more closely to them and to provide them with even more individual support. We are at the beginning of a process in which we will renew our offering and communication. As Marketing Manager – Legacies, you will support us in this process and have the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Welthungerhilfe’s exciting portfolio of services. Through your work, you will secure funding for our projects and make a valuable contribution to our vision #ZeroHunger by 2030.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • In this position, you will be responsible for the acquisition and support of heir donors.
  • You will implement and manage extensive communication measures in print, online, out-of-home and events to attract potential donors.
  • You will independently brief and manage external service providers such as agencies and media,and you will working closely with internal marketing bodies.
  • Our focus is on people who entrust Welthungerhilfe with their last will and testament. You will be a friendly point of contact for these people, providing them with expert advice and trustworthy support.
  • Furthermore, you will accompany the supporter journey of our supporters through defined touchpoints in a sustainable and binding manner.
  • An important touchpoint are information events for potential heit donors, which you will not only plan, but also actively help to shape and implement.
  • You will always keep an eye on careful data management maintenance and continuous optimization of all CRM processes.

 

Your profile

 

  • A university or college degree or comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in key account management, marketing, ideally in foundations or fundraising
  • High level of empathy & communication skills
  • Team-oriented, independent and proactive way of working
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of CRM and data management tools desirable (e.g. SalesForce)
  • Excellent spoken and written German as well as good English language skills
