Sr. Field Marketing Operations Manager

The Americas Sr. Field Marketing Operations Manager is a vital role on the AWS Americas Field Marketing team. This person will work closely across field marketing teams, lead management and global marketing to improve processes, marketing results and drive toward execution excellence. This person will have direct responsibility for analytics and reporting, budget management, cross team communications, and team centralization projects. This is a data driven role that has the opportunity to influence marketing programs and the type of data the team looks at to make strategic decisions. This role also has the ability to improve how our team performs by implementing centralization projects with the goal of increasing team productivity and execution quality.

Responsibilities
· Provide guidance and support on budget, reporting and lead management issues across Americas Marketing to ensure we accomplish our goals
· Write narratives that clearly breakdown our business problems with the support of data and provide recommendations for solutions
· Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com and Tableau to provide visibility into marketing campaign results and measure campaign effectiveness
· Use various statistical analysis models to predict trends, identify issues, and forecast future goal attainment
· Build a reporting structure that will track lead flow and use it to identify trends that you analyze and use to generate insights you share with leadership
· Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical models in response to management requests
· Work collaboratively with team members in the Field Marketing, Global Marketing and Sales org to help set reporting requirements based on a variety of aggressive goals
· Act as the primary project owner of the teams communications hub and central communications plan
· Build a tracking and reporting structure for managing the team’s yearly budget and periodically report out on the state of the team’s operational spend against forecast to ensure there are no overages or underspending
· Act as a facilitator/trainer to enable team adoption of tools and reporting sources
· Act as the lead contact of Americas Marketing to interface with Global Lead Management to identify and fix lead flow issues
· Play a key role in preparing Monthly Business Reviews

Basic Qualifications

· 4 + years’ experience in a high-tech B2B marketing operations or business operations role
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or comparable education/experience
· Familiarity with B2B tech marketing/sales lead management processes and marketing automation scoring models
· Track record of building reports and dashboards for tracking campaign results and the demand funnel using Marketo and Salesforce.com
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and vLookups) and Power Point

Preferred Qualifications

· Must be comfortable building ad hoc reports and visualization dashboards within Salesforce.com and Tableau
· Track record of developing and managing multiple programs simultaneously
· Knowledge of marketing budget and financial accrual process for budget forecasting and tracking
· Strong understanding of the Demand Generation Funnel and its various stages
· Very strong analytical, critical thinking and metrics based reporting skills.
· Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Excellent project management skills
· Not afraid to try new things – driven to constantly improve results
