Program Manager, Enterprise & Industry Verticals Business Development

The mission of the Enterprise & Industry Verticals Business Development (BD) team is to enhance Field Sales effectiveness through targeted enterprise and industry related programs and solution packages. Meeting this vision requires a programmatic approach to incubating, scaling, and resourcing enterprise and industry verticals programs.

As a senior Strategy & Operations Program Manager, you will play a central role is developing, planning, and driving execution of the programs required to deliver on the mission of the organization. You will work closely with the Strategy & Operations team, with the Enterprise, Industry, and Program Business Development leaders, as well as with our Business Intelligence and Data Science teams to formulate effective program plans and to manage successful execution and delivery of targeted business outcomes. Program initiatives may include the development and implementation of new processes for sales territory planning and account coverage, enhancing account planning tools and processes, or ongoing enhancement of BI dashboards and KPIs required for running the business at scale. You will also be responsible for supporting the ongoing monthly, quarterly, and annual operating cadence of the business including the annual strategic planning process, BD related events such as quarterly business reviews, and monthly management reviews.
The ideal candidate will be a very effective written and oral communicator and have strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills, and the ability to work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape deliverables. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business challenges, with the ability to work across a broad global network of organizational boundaries. A strong candidate will have a deep sense of ownership, accountability, and an analytical approach to problem solving. He/she is a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, make tradeoffs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints. The senior Strategy & Operations Program Manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to invent and simplify business processes. Maturity, strong judgment, and the ability to influence are all essential to success in this role. This is a hands-on position – the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves” and get things done.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively focused area such as engineering, economics, finance, operations research, etc.

3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or equivalent program management experience in a technology focused company

Preferred Qualifications

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Ability to quickly learn BI data visualization tools such as Tableau

Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech startup

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Willingness and ability to dig into necessary level of detail to ensure successful program delivery

MBA or graduate degree in management, finance, or a technical field

Project Management Certification (PMP)

Experience in Sales Strategy and/or Sales Operations roles

Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce

Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a highly matrixed, cross-functional, global organization
