Community Together Engagement Specialist

The Amazon. Community. Together. Team (ACT) is seeking an exceptionally talented, dependable, resourceful, and self-motivated Community Together Engagement Specialist (CTES) to support this expanding program. This individual will be responsible for creating a strategy for virtually and physically vetting local Non-profit Organizations (NPOs) within an assigned region. Supports the expansion by increasing the number of NPOs available. Establishes locations that meet Amazon standards while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements. Delivers experiences that delight customers and creates robust solutions.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
· Confirm nonprofit or charitable status
· Develops strategic mapping through virtual vetting, prior to physical location visits
· Confirm nonprofit or charitable status
· Assists with locating NPOs that meets program criteria and expectations
· Determines a clear understanding of the mission for each NPO and their expectations of the program
· Completes the required documentation (e.g., Safety checklists, vetting document, NPO volunteer needs/wants, contacts for that location and legal agreements
· Follows up with post visit details (e.g., uploading all information to NPO library and notifying appropriate contacts)
· Ensures the current established NPOs are meeting the requirements and expectations
· Evaluates NPO job descriptions/responsibilities to ensure proper placement of Associates and reviews alternative options specific to each NPO’s needs
· Supports the ACT team initiatives to expand the program and determine current/future needs
· Suggests process improvements for any aspect of the program to improve overall team performance
· Acts as a liaison among multiple stakeholders (e.g., Workers’ Compensation Manager, Workplace Health & Safety Manager, Operational Leadership, Human Resources, and the designated NPOs )
· Tracks and helps drive completion of key deliverables, including following up on any outstanding items and travel budgets
· Communicates among customers, both internal and external, and evaluates satisfaction for the program
· Accomplishes special projects as assigned for developmental purposes and team support
· Collaborates closely with ACT Team and leadership

Basic Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in a client support or employee-facing role
· Administrative experience
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
· Available for domestic and international travel (up to 50%)

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree
· NPO industry experience and/or a background in Workplace Health & Safety
· Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to adjust to changing priorities
· Experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse/production environment
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to professionally communicate both verbally and written, recognizing and responding to others’ perspectives
