Program Manager - Ops Integration

Amazon Worldwide Operations is looking for Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs within Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment and Amazon Transportation Services. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate and coordinate resources
· Influence design and development of strategic processes
· Managing and delivering results on complex projects across multiple organizations
· Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
· Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
· Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers
· Gathering and analyzing data to drive business decisions
· Creating, communicating and managing budget for projects
· Innovating to improve processes and continuously removing cost from operations

Basic Qualifications

· Completed Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, etc.) from an accredited university or 2+ years’ Amazon experience
· 5+ years of progressive responsibility in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation or related field with proven ability to influence without authority as an individual contributor
· Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs
· Strong data mining, data analysis and problem solving skills
· Intermediate to advanced expertise with SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, Access and SharePoint
· Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired
· Prior experience or use of PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
· Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic programming language and Excel query and script creation are a plus
· Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
· Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
· Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
