Recruiting Manager, People Tech

The HR Tech Team is seeking a talented, customer-focused Recruiting Manager to join its forces and lead the People Technology, SDE Recruiting Team.

Who is People Technology? The People Technology Team builds the technology behind decisions with real human impact. People Tech is solving hard problems in identity, authentication, recruiting, talent, growth, UX, scalability, and diversity.

In this role, you would:
· Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics.
· Manage a team who own finding and assessing SDE candidates
· Interact with various recruiting partners to provide consolidated view of organizational staffing
· Develop innovative ways to meet HR Tech’s constantly expanding and evolving recruiting needs
**Requires an ability to travel 15% – 25% of time**

Basic Qualifications

· 8+ years of Technical Recruiting experience
· 3+ years leading a team
· Experience building, coaching and managing a technical recruiting team
· Experience reporting on recruiter productivity metrics
· Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree


Preferred Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience as an influencer, thought leader, and strategist to C level executives/leadership
· 5 + years of experience leading transformational solutions as part of a broad recruiting strategy
· 5+ years of building recruiting roadmaps and talent mapping
· Skills at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI
· Workforce planning experience
· 5+ years of recruiting leadership experience standing up hiring strategies in new markets and sometimes passive markets
· Proven track record of diagnosing and solving complex problems in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
· Demonstrated ability to present complex ideas in writing in the form of authoring white papers, proposals, or other formal strategy documents
· Experience scaling a team through tremendous growth periods
· Experience partnering with global clients and peers
· Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow between Candidates, Hiring Managers and the Recruiting team
· Organized and pragmatic
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
