Sr. HR Business Partner

Amazon’s HR organization is seeking a flexible, adaptive Sr. HRBP to provide strategic and hands-on organizational support to the AWS HR organizations on the East Coast and in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). In this role, you will apply business and functional knowledge to inform and drive the short- and long- term HR priorities, including raising the bar on talent, operating model design, workforce planning and talent management. You will partner with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to develop and execute plans for building leadership and management capability and creating organization designs that align to the HR priorities. You will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations. We are looking for a business partner who has the ability to proactively plan and design, as well as identify and diagnose issues in order to drive solutions.

Responsibilities:
· Partner with HR leaders to develop, implement and evolve HR strategies to support the agendas of the HR organizations in areas such as performance management, talent development and organization design
· Consult on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment
· Provide coaching to director-level leaders
· Consult with front- and second-line managers on employee performance and development
· Be a resource to employees who seek to resolve work-related issues and concerns
· Effectively engage, partner and consult with recruiting partners to meet the talent acquisition needs for the organizations
· Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects the mission and tenets of the organization
· Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee engagement, performance, retention and employee experience
· Assess leadership and employee development training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate
· Partner with central teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development


Basic Qualifications

· BA/BS required
· 5+ years’ experience in an HR business partner role or related leadership roles with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management
· Willingness and ability to be hands on with all levels of the organization as well as serve as a strategic partner to leaders
· Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and goals into optimal HR processes that are scalable, simple, customer-focused and adaptable to unique and changing business needs
· Ability to influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization in sensitive situations without damaging relationships
· Ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams and consult effectively and independently with all levels and functional areas of an organization
· Ability to travel
· Desire to grow and take on increased scope of responsibility, including management responsibility
