As a WW EHS Due Diligence Vapor Intrusion Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of supporting one of the largest real estate due diligence and remediation programs in the world. In collaborating with various stakeholders and teams to support real estate growth, you will perform transaction related due diligence acting as a team leader for assessment of indoor air/sub-slab vapor intrusion, mitigation to address vapor exposure pathways, and development of policy related to vapor intrusion. This includes interpretation of regulatory requirements, guidance documents, and technical documents related to the assessment, mitigation and remediation of vapor phase contamination, evaluation and implementation of remedial technologies to address chlorinated solvents and other vapor sources. To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills and be able to send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You have extensive site assessment and investigation program knowledge, understand the regulatory environment, and demonstrate this expertise when working with internal and external teams. RESPONSIBLIITES:
Complete EHS reviews of due diligence-related information including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, historical reports, and regulatory agency assessments.
Lead health-risk assessments and vapor mitigation plans, which includes evaluation of vapor intrusion sampling, vapor intrusion modeling, remedial system design, construction plans and installation.
Provide support and training to a wide range of interested teams and partners.
Provide review and feedback for work performed by contractors, developers, and consultants.
Demonstrate that you can prioritize and lead multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
Represent Amazon at appropriate levels with property owners and their representatives, consultants, and legal advisors to maintain and develop professional and effective relationships.

Basic QualificationsA Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Toxicology or related field of study.
8+ years of experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or project manager with expertise in conducting evaluations of vapor intrusion risks as well as health risk assessments.
Possess knowledge and experience of ASTM Phase I standards and other environmental protocols, understand core business and legal concepts of business transactions, with continued interest in working on transactions.
Experience in development and implementation of standards, policies and programs
Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of contaminant fate & transport, vapor intrusion, vapor intrusion modeling (ex: Johnson and Ettinger, USEPAVISLs).
Knowledge of the principles of the vapor intrusion practice, including pertinent technical literature, national and state guidance, investigation methods, and data assessment tools.
Expertise with the engineering principles and practices of vapor intrusion mitigation systems.
